Sassy's Up Late Again

Just a quick baby update: no baby. The ultrasound shows just an empty egg sac--or what they used to call "blighted ovum". The doc said it'll keep getting bigger, even though there's no baby in it, til it passes. Oh, and I'll actually go into a "mini-labor" in order to pass it, so I get to look forward to painful cramping lasting about a half of a day, whenever my body decides to do it. I've got a script for Lortab waiting for me. Lovely. I work an 11 hr shift tomorrow--who wants to take bets it hits me in the middle of the day tomorrow?
