Twenty Days and counting...
Twenty more days before my writeup expires. Excruciating!
In the meantime, Boss confessed that he got a writeup over some of the stuff D-Rod revealed in his walk-out-rant. Which explains why Boss is suddenly not the Acting Manager up in Big City Branch anymore, and why he's not officially managing both East and West Side Hometown branches, either. So the question becomes: whose writeup is VP waiting to expire before the official job titles get handed out?
Early last week, the BM job for another branch southwest of us was posted--it's just outside of VP's district, but close to where E lives (E used to work with us about 2 years ago and transferred to University Branch). He informed me that that branch already has an "acting manager" who will almost certainly take it, so he's not going to bother to apply.
Then Friday, yet another BM job, this time the NorthSide branch's job got posted. Again. That branch has gone through managers like they're Republican Presidential candidates. I've all but given up on making any sense of it, but I can say with certitude that VP has got quite a mess on her hands with something like 4 or 5 branches without managers, even after S-hole's promotion.
